With elections over, the voting process for the world’s largest elections will begin. India, also the world’s largest democracy, will count approximately 430 million votes in order to figure out the winners of the contest. Manmohan Singh, the current prime minister of the country, hopes to become the first incumbent to win re-election in over 40 years. It will be interesting to see how things unfold, but it will certainly be worth the wait as the country’s future lies in the hands of these winners.
